There's a local crowd-funding effort underway to help crisis-struck Lell's Cafe'. The popular 2-year old Winthrop-area restaurant has experienced difficulties in recent months due to unanticipated building issues early on in its existence, which left it under-funded to reach its intended operation size and goals. It closed a couple of weeks ago to try to find solutions and re-group. Now Lell thinks she has the answer, and with a little help from family, friends, and loyal customers, she's set to make her complete dream a reality.If you are able to help with $25 or more, you could become part of the first group of citizens in our area to speak up and take action to save a local small business (and there are a few "perks" for those who help as well :-)
